Sobre este item

Minor wear. The spine has a few creases but remains square. The covers show a little crimping along the lower edge and some scuffing at the corners of the spine. There is a wrinkled area and a crease at the top corner of the back cover at the spine (see photo #4). It looks like an impact mark, but I believe it is an artifact of the manufacturing process, as the top edge is straight and undamaged, indicating this likely happened before the final trim. The pages are clean, tight and unmarked, with only faint yellowing. A commemorative issue, this book is rather scarce.

Sinopse

The classic novel of the Second World War that relates in devastating detail the 24-hour story of an allied bombing raid.Bomber is a novel war. There are no victors, no vanquished. There are simply those who remain alive, and those who die.Bomber follows the progress of an Allied air raid through a period of twenty-four hours in the summer of 1943. It portrays all the participants in a terrifying drama, both in the air and on the ground, in Britain and in Germany. In its documentary style, it is unique. In its emotional power it is overwhelming.Len Deighton has been equally acclaimed as a novelist and as an historian. In Bomber he has combined both talents to produce a masterpiece.

Sobre Turtleman Used Books

Opened August 1st of 2022, Turtleman Used Books in Olympia, WA. Address is 108 22nd Ave SW, Olympia, WA 98501. Suite #4. This is a small shop, so some books may only be displayed online, others only displayed in the store. Come on by if you are in town. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Many of my books are oversized. Rather than ask for shipping adjustments at the time of purchase, the list price for heavier books includes the excess shipping cost. All of my photographs are of the actual product, taken by my trusty little Kindle Fire. Currently we have about 2900 books offered for sale online, with more being added daily. Check back frequently to see what's new. -----
