Red cloth bound boards with gilt stamped spine. Dust jacket slightly soiled on front and back with most discoloration on the spine. Tears on the joints of the spine at top and bottom and on the margins of the covers with some loss to the corners. Corners of the board very lightly bumped with more significant bumps to the head and tail of the spine. Some light discoloration on the back inside board. Binding cocked but sound. Includes bookplate from Danish publishing house Gyldendal on the front paste down. Some separation in the gutter between pages 30 and 31 and pencil marks on page 8.

Sinopse
Beyond This Place is a 1953 novel by Scottish author, A. J. Cronin. The novel has been adapted for both film and television. A Bollywood version, Kalapani (1958), was directed by Raj Khosla and starred Dev Anand and Madhubala. The British film version (1959) was directed by Jack Cardiff and featured Van Johnson and Vera Miles. A television adaptation was broadcast on CBS in 1957, and was produced by David Susskind and directed by Sidney Lumet.
