Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown. Creasing to some pages. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Dents to both boards. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Boards are slightly warped. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Light tanning to spine, rear panel and edges. Blue marking to rear panel. Wear marks and foxing overall.

Sinopse

Beyond This Place is a 1953 novel by Scottish author, A. J. Cronin. The novel has been adapted for both film and television. A Bollywood version, Kalapani (1958), was directed by Raj Khosla and starred Dev Anand and Madhubala. The British film version (1959) was directed by Jack Cardiff and featured Van Johnson and Vera Miles. A television adaptation was broadcast on CBS in 1957, and was produced by David Susskind and directed by Sidney Lumet.
