Orig. published in 1945, this is a FIRST EDITION, First Printing, listing to previous book on front DJ flap, CA synopsis on rear flap, JB#15 on back cover. Thinner hardcover has green cloth-covered boards with darker lettering to front & spine, in 207 pages with plain frontispiece. Condition is VG: very clean, pages heavily tanned (commensurate with wartime paper quality). Binding secure, but with a slight rightward lean; both hinges intact. Rubbing to extremities & bumped corners. Former owner's name in red marker on ffep, else unmarked. The unclipped DJ is Poor, missing most of the spine & large chunks along edge of front cover-front flap. Very slight rubbing to extremities, bumping to all corners & both ends of spine. No DJ.
