Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1941. Turquoise colored hardcover binding with silhouette of Betsy and Billy on front has some rubbing at corners and minimal shelfwear, clean and tight. Illustrated endpapers, good hinges, clean, bright and tight interior. This is a very early printing but probably not a first. List of books opposite title page only shows "B" is for Betsy and Two and Two are Four, no other titles. However, copyright page has only the year and no number '1' indicating first printing. Nice copy of early edition. 156 pages.. Illus. by Haywood, Carolyn. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover. Near Very Good/No Jacket.
