Mr. Harte was best known for his depictions of the wild frontier life during the California gold rush. Edited and with an introduction by Robert N. Likely published c.1951 (though 1947 date appears in book). ML #250.1. --- With a little dulling to cover gilding and cloth, otherwise a clean, firm copy.
