Ivory cloth cover with gilt illus. of a Bird and Bamboo on the front. Gilt lettering to spine. Frontis illus. Phyllostrachys Nigra (from a old Japanese Drawing), protected by tissue guard. Top page edges Gilt, other edges untrimmed. Spine tanned. Slight bump to bottom edge. No inscriptions.
