Name of a previous owner and date 1857 to the flyleaf and the same owner has neatly marked out the volume divisions on the spine and amended the contents page, otherwise internally clean. Bacon's Essays, Philosphical Works, Instauratio Magna and Appendix, Legal and Political writings etc.. Three-Quarter Leather. Very Good.
