Sobre este item
Zuni Archeological Program Pueblo of Zuni, 1989 Zuni Archeological Program Pueblo of Zuni, 1989 Unpaginated. Multiple maps and site maps. A tabulation of artifacts found in the described area prepared for the Navajo - Hopi Relocation Commission in 1989. A land swap to settle a 110-year Navajo-Hopi territorial dispute divided 1.8 million acres of land once held in common by both the Navajo and Hopi peoples in northeast Arizona, required each tribe to vacate the areas now under the jurisdiction of the other. More than 10,000 Navajos, more populous than the 6,500 Hopis who live primarily on the mesas above the rangeland, were identified by the Navajo and Hopi Indian Relocation Commission. Most of the 100 Hopi families who lived on the wrong side of the barbed-wire fence had already left. The Relocation Commission removed about 3,000 Navajos and approximately 3,000-4,000 left on their own. Large Format Soft Cover. Very Good. 8.5" x 11". Privately Printed.. Paperback. Very Good.
