Original maroon cloth with blind stamped decoration, bevelled edges to boards, gilt lettering. good with a little general wear and some rubbbing or chipping to head/tail of the spine. Contents clean and tight, original brown coated end papers, a few pages and end papers slightly marked, old paper repair to the rear hinge. A good to very good copy of the scarce first edition..
