Schoolcraft, George Bird Grinnell, and other folklorists. These tales are offered in a deluxe Heritage Press reprint edition, selected, edited and introduced by Allan A. Macfarlan, with illustrations in color and black & white by Everett Gee Jackson. Sandglass leaflet laid in (New York, no XII: 34). --- In patterned olive paper-covered boards backed in yellow cloth, with spine titling in green; yellow topstain. Text printed on high-quality papers. Volume housed in gold paper-covered slipcase. --- A clean, bright, tightly-bound copy lacking obvious damages. Slipcase with a little sunning near opening & faint soiling; is otherwise undamaged and structurally sound.
