Sobre este item

New York: Simon & Schuster,, 1974. First edition, second printing, inscribed by Bob Woodward to the author M. John Lubetkin on the title page "To John, Bob Woodward". Lubetkin (1937-2023) was a cable television executive and published books on the surveying of Yellowstone and the Northern Pacific Railroad. All the President's Men is the key book on Watergate, chronicling the investigation of the authors who exposed the affair in the Washington Post. "In what must be the most devastating political detective story of the century, the two young Washington Post reporters whose brilliant investigative journalism smashed the Watergate scandal wide open tell the whole behind-the-scenes drama the way it really happened" (jacket). It was the basis of the 1976 film of the same name. Octavo. Original blue cloth, spine lettered in white. With dust jacket. Recipient's ownership signature, dated 6 November 1974, on front free endpaper. Light toning to jacket; very good.
