Colour illustrated paperback binding with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the back strip. The trials and tribulations of first pioneers on a planet where there was a decaying civilisation, a shortage of women, vicious rodents and a mineral whose vibrations could shatter a planet or a person's mind beset them. Creasing to the book corners with reading creases of the back strip. Rubbing of the book edges and panels and there is browning of the text block edges and pages. The half title page is a little shaky. First edition of the work in this format and binding, and/or set or series.
