Salina, KS: C. B. Kirtland Publishing Col. First Edition . Cloth - Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo. Bound volume containing all four issues of Volume I, being July, 1891 to April, 1892. Minimally Ex-Library, with a faint letter "K" on the spine; a trace of penciled library numbers at the top of the first page of text; the letter "c" at the bottom of the same page; and faint residue of a library sticker at the bottom of the blank front free end page. Black buckram cloth binding, with gilt stamped lettering on spine. Original paper covers bound at end of volume, show a few smudges, and a penciled name at the top of two. Cloth covers show a little rubbing along bottom edges. Volumes remains very tight and otherwise clean. Nice copies of this scarce Kansas history and literary magazine.

With more than 25 years of experience buying and selling out-of-print, collectible, and rare books, maps, and ephemera, I am now doing business from my home at 60 Poplar Heights Rd.; Chanute, KS 66720; U.S.A. by appointment only. All inventory is hand selected and believed to be of significance for the collector, the reader, the historian or the general book lover. Historically, I have specialized in Kansas and regional history, but also maintain quality collections of Natural History, Theology, Americana, Railroad, Travel and Exploration, Medicine, Art, and Psychology, Neurology, and Psychiatry. Fine bindings, plate books, signed and inscribed items are an important part of my collections. Smaller, though intriguing collections of other genre are also a part of my holdings.
