In contemporary paper-covered boards. Externally, shelf wear and a few marks to the boards, and loss to the binding at the head and tail of the spine. Rear joint is starting to the tail, and front board is held by cords only and may detach with further handling. Previous owner's ink signature to the front pastedown. Internally, binding is tender. Pages contain the odd spot and handling mark, not affecting readability. Fair

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
