A pictorial record of traditional Chinese costumes intended to serve as an album, a practical reference book and a valuable academic work. Black cloth over boards with gilt particulars to spine. Pages are clean and unmarked. Boards are clean and bright. Text block is clean. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket is clean and bright, with very light shelfwear to extremeties and minor "bubbling" to rear. Publisher's paper-covered cardboard slipcase is in Good condition: the "laminate" over the paper-covered boards shows peeling and bubbling, primarily at edges. Additionally, slipcase shows some light chipping to edges.
