Sobre este item
New York: Atlantic Monthly Press, 2004. First Edition. Fine in 1/4 cream cloth and cream paper covered boards with copper colored text stamping on the spine with black end sheets. In a fine unclipped dust jacket. 422 pages including an index, bibliography and text. Illustrated with maps and two sections of black and white reproductions of contemporary works of art. The conclusion of the French and Indian War (as it was known in North America) and the Seven Years War (as it was known in Europe) was brought about by two major British military victories at Quebec and Quiberon. These victories gave Britain global supremacy over France and effectively changed the course of history making 1759 one of the most decisive dates in modern history.
