Margaret Wise Brown wrote more than 100 books for children during her short lifetime. "The Old Mill" was discovered in the Disney Archives and subsequently published by Disney with the suitable illustrations created by French designer and illustrator Philippe Harchy.

Text illustrations and board game by John Lawrence. The board game in an envelope attached to the inside rear cover; doesn't look to ever been opened. An exciting beginning with a balloon losing air and crashing and the gondola smashing into the hard ground, bouncing and coming to rest only feet away from a gas storage tank.

Dal Richards teams up with Jim Taylor to recount his life story as a legendary bandleader. 1st Canadian Edition. Glossy pictorial boards. Minor bumps to corners with some White showing, o/w a VG copy INSCRIBED by Foreman: "To Helen with Love, Michael Foreman, 1994". A previous owner has affixed a sphere on the front endpaper, similar to the sphere in the book. Matching d.j. with some chipping.

In this remarkable book, Barbara Nichol creates a garden--a place made out of botany and memories and simple tales of gardens and gardeners.
