The title of the book translates to "Birds of Warsaw." . The text of the book was written by Maciej Luniak and Wiktor Pawlowski, with photography by Barbara Siemaszko and Alojzy Sawadzki. The dust jacket has taken a beating over the years. It's torn, worn, crimped, scraped, and foxed. We have placed a clear archival jacket over the original DJ to prevent additional damage. Gray cloth boards. Front board has the title of book in black lettering. Edges of boards are discolored/tanned. Dented corner tips. Lightly bumped heel of spine. Foxing on upper text block, and text block is yellowed all the way around. Paste downs and end pages are yellowed with darker yellowing in hinge and outside edges. All of the pages have yellowed. He is best remembered as the national poet of Cuba. Bumped corners. Wearing along spine edges and at heel and head of spine strip. Back wrap has scrape along edge (looks like something was stuck to cover and removed, taking a bit of top layer of card stock with it). Clean, unmarked pages. Reading creases. A couple of dings to text block. 462 pages. 5.75"w x 8" H.

Back cover has a 2 inch tear from top center of cover that has been "repaired" with a clear piece of packing tape. Former discarded library book with stamps on title page and library pocket pasted inside back cover. Three library stamps have been marked out with magic marker. Pages and text block are very yellowed. Surprisingly enough, tight binding.

Honda Motor Company, 1981. Acceptable. This shop manual is "bound" in a 3-Ring Binder, with 7-hole punched pages. We've done our best to clean up and wipe down the outside and inside of the binder covers, however, this is a shop manual and as such there are areas of grime and pages can feel a little "gritty." All pages have yellowed and the outside edges are dirty. All pages and chapters are intact. There are 379 pages, with unpaginated addendum at the end. Front "cover" page is smudged and a little wavy. Binder rings have caused the last page of manual to become detached. We've inserted into the back pocket of binder. Overall, a good reference copy for weekend wrenchers on classic bikes.

Gilt lettering on front board and on spine. Boards are faded and have stains on front. No dust jacket. Dented corner dented corner tips and at top and bottom of the spine. Deckled pages. Foxing on text block, more significantly at the bottom edge. Top of text block appears to have been gilt at one point, now darkened and foxed. Large foxing/stains on the front end papers and title page. All pages are fragile due to age, and are yellowed with browning on outer edges of the pages. Binding is in decent shape; pages remain intact and attached. Readable copy, although care is advised when reading. Pen and ink drawings by the author throughout. Black and white photograph of Cornelia Phillips Spencer on frontispiece. 325 pages.

Tall book, 11.5 x 3.25. Covers are scuffed, dirty and rubbed. Clear coating on boards is peeling along the upper spine edges. Price stickers on front cover. All corner tips are bumped, dented, and worn. Worn through to cardboard at heel of spine. Small rips at bottom joint at spine. Chips and dings along edges. Pencil writing on FFE. Light yellowing to pages, and pages are unmarked. Binding remains strong.

Red boards imprinted with the Old Mr. Boston logo, and titling in gilt on front board and spine. Boards are covered in bright red, faux-leatherish paper. Dings to edges, bumped corner tips. White scuff on front spine edge, small black scuff on spine. Sewn binding is in very good shape, all pages intact and quite readable. Pages are very lightly age-toned. The pictorial paste downs and end pages feature drawings and representations of various drinkware and such. 150 pages.

Softcover, saddle stitched binding, edited from a transcripttion of a meeting on November 6, 1989, following a weekend seminar given by Professor Bohm in Ojai, California. Scuffed wraps and yellow wraps, with gently bumped tips. Front flyleaf page has been partially torn away. The pages are not pulling away from the staples and publication is in nice reading condition. 41 pages.

Covers are sun faded, lightly dirty on all edges, with fingerprint marks, small circular stains and other miscellaneous stains. Wearing along the edge of the spine/binding. Cover and first six pages have diagonal crease in upper right corner. Lew Welch was a beat poet on the San Francisco scene in the 60's. This little tome is highly sought after due to its rarity.

The New Sydenham Society, London, 1864. Hardcover. Acceptable. Hardcover. Fragile. This book has had a "protective" brown paper book jacket, placed upon it in 1940 by the former owner, a founder of the Pember-Nuzum Clinic in Janesville, WIS. This book cover is extremely well worn, stained, ripped and age-toned. We are not going to remove it. Old cellophane tape has left dark residual on the end papers. We can only judge the condition of the boards based upon what we can see underneath, and original boards are very, very worn at the spine ends and corner tips, which are quite dented. We can assume that the boards themselves are very worn. Splits in hinges. Age toned and stained pages. Book smells musty and old, which is no surprise. There are appear to be no loose pages, although we have observed cracking/splitting in the gutters between page signatures. 635 pages. We will happily provide photos upon request!
