New Jersey State Museum, 1979. Softcover. Good. Softcover bound with two heavy-duty staples. Publication printed in connection with the display of sculptures and ceramics by the 19th century artist, Herman Carl Mueller. The exhibition took place at the New Jersey State Museum in Trenton, New Jersey, between January 13 and March 18, 1979. Cream colored covers have light dirty spots. The back cover has has areas of green close to the spine where something has rubbed against the cover. Top and bottom of "spine" are gently bumped. The pages are a shade of manila. Black and white photographs are accompanied by descriptive text regarding the items on display. 46 pages.

Moisture rippling and staining along text block and upper page edges. HEAVILY highlighted with red pencil and pen. Writing in the margins with red pen. Due to moisture, backside of FEP was stuck to title page, causing lifting of the top layer of the end page at the gutter. Pages are yellowed. Smudges and ink marks on text block. Boards are scratched and scuffed. All corners are dented. Wearing to bottom of boards with dings and chips. Smashed spine ends. PLEASE NOTE: This book has no access/key codes. It is the textbook only. 761 pages plus the subject index.

Appleton-Century-Crofts, 1961. Hardcover. Good. Hardback. No dust jacket, but not sure it had one. Orange boards with black title and design. Top portion of text block and spine has a bit of a twist to it, so tends to cock, with the lower half of block and spine are square. Doesn't affect readability at all. All pages intact. Boards are a bit soiled, with rubbing along edges, slightly dented at top and bottom of spine. Pages are clean, with some staining to outside edge of text block. Handy dandy Spanish grammar book. 321p.

The Curtis Art Gallery, 1971. Softcover. Acceptable. Extremely worn copy. Heavily creased wraps. Rubbed, scratched. Edges are scraped and chipped. Scraping to spine edges. Very stained. Full of interesting stories about the life of John Tatsey, as told by him. 79 pages.

Texian Press, 1978. First Edition. Hardcover. Acceptable. Autobiography of Dr. William Edgar Tatum, as told to his daughter, Doris Tatum Green. Published as one of a limited run of 500, by Texian Press in Waco, Texas. This is an EX-LIBRARY book. Has stamps on edges of text block, title page, penciled Dewey decimal number on title page. FFE also has red pen mark. The library pocket on the back free end page has been removed leaving remnants on the page, and more stamps revealed. Front paste down end paper has the remains of an ex-libris sticker that somebody has attempted to remove. Also a small sticker for the store where book was purchased. The tape used to keep the mylar-covered DJ on the book has yellowed and left markings on inside end papers. The mylar on the DJ is very scuffed and scratched and dirty. The DJ itself is dirty, with small rips, and both DJ and mylar are dinged at the tips and at the tops and bottoms of the spine. Soft cover wraps and all pages are age-toned, with wearing around the edges. Saddle stitched binding (stapled) with splitting to the spine edge. Staples are rusty. Dark discoloration and staining in the the top of the gutters of pages. Card pocket inside front cover. "Shirley Temple's life" is written in pen on inside front cover. Front cover is stained, creased and scraped. Owner name written in pen on front cover. Many b&w photos of Shirley throughout with accompanying text. Years are showing. 40pp. 9.5" x 10

Cloth boards are scratched and soiled. Spine is faded with rubbing along edges along hinge. Bumped/dented and worn corner tips and head and heel of spine. Front pastedown has delightful drawing, in pencil, of what appears to be a hobo smoking a cigarette. Artist/owner name next to the artistic handiwork. Foxing on paste downs and FFE. Rear pastedown and end papers have scribbling and writing, all in pencil. Spine cocked. Dirty textblock. Age-toned pages with underlining and marginalia. Spine is firm. 187pps.

Faded and stained brown cloth boards, with more pronounced staining to the rear board, perhaps DJ had gotten damp and became stuck to the cloth of the board. It does NOT smell like mildew. Bumped corner tips with wearing to cloth along bottom edges of boards and heel and head of spine strip. Rubbing along spine strip edges. Yellowing to hinges between paste downs and end pages. Very light age toning to pages. Binding good. All pull-out worksheets are still bound in. 207 pages.

Scraping along edge of the spine. Dark stain on lower edges of the pages from front cover to back, growing wider as you move through the pages. Pages are very age-toned. We will furnish photos upon request. All pages are intact and this is a perfectly readable publications. Light bumping to the heel of spine and the corner tips. Previous owner name in pen on FFE, and faint traces of pencil writing. Small pen scribble on front paste down. Paste downs are slightly darkened on the edges. Faintly yellowed pages. Binding remains strong, although between first and second group of signature sections, pages tend to fall open. 220 pps.
