In 1946 Malcolm Saville's third Lone Pine book was serialised for BBC's Children's Hour in six parts, adapted by Muriel Levy. The serial was repeated with a new, shorter production in 1949, but there is no evidence that a recording was made. Even the scripts had been thought lost forever - until now! Here they are, unearthed after sixty-plus years, published at last in handsome hardback with a specially commissioned wraparound dustjacket designed by Val Biro, who has also drawn a b/w frontispiece. Hinges are cracked, with some exposed netting and a loose binding. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Book has a forward lean.
