Davis Grubb's collections of Southern gothic horror tales have been hard to find for a long time. It would be nice to see them all collected in one volume. "Return of Verge Likens" and "Where the Woodbine Twineth" were made into episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. The most famous story here, "The Horsehair Trunk," was made into a Night Gallery episode called "The Last Laurel." E-208; 9.1 X 6.6 X 1.1 inches .
