Light foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Annotations, underlining and marginalia in pencil throughout; text remains unaffected. Hinges are lightly cracked but boards remain firmly attached. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning with visible tanning, chipping and scuffing overall. Spine has noticeable sunning with soft crushing to ends.

Gutters and hinges are cracked with the netting exposed but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with light marking and scuffing overall. Spine has slight tanning with moderate crushing to ends. Book has a subtle forward lean. Lettering remains bright and clear.

All edges rubbed, corners worn to boards, spine top and tail rubbed and chipped, joints starting to split, leather overall brittle. Front hinge starting to split, but holding, back hinge good, textblock firm.
