In very good condition with good dustwrapper (dw; Some minor darkening, faint water mark rear corner, Price clipped. in protective sleeve.). Inscription on second blank page, else a clean and tight copy. 60pp. with 16 colour plates & B&W decorations and illustrations. Joan is a little girl who believes in fairies and when the gardener tells her that the best place to find them is among the wild flowers, she goes in search of them. Tinkler the elf acts as guide, and Joan makes some wonderful discoveries.

The paper has darkened to a light cream colour, but the pages show no wear or damage. The paper covering the front hinge has cracked, but the net binding remains intact. The blue covers are bright, with light wear at edges and corners, with two wringles visible in the material of the top left corner of the front panel. The dust jacket is price-clipped and is only in Good condition, with wear, chipping and darkening to the spine and edges. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "Joan is a little girl who believes in fairies, and when the gardener tells her that the best place to find them is among the wild flowers, she goes in search of them.
